Bike vs. EV - Team Bike Takes the Win
U-Save is excited to announce its official launch in Panama, marking
another milestone in the brand’s growing presence across the Americas. The franchise has been acquired by entrepreneur Firoz Bikhu, whose
family business is a leader in the country’s automotive industry, with an
established reputation in both vehicle dealerships and repair services.
Initially focused on serving Panama’s domestic business market, the
family’s independent rental operation has now expanded by partnering
with U-Save. This strategic move secured them an in-terminal location at
Tocumen International Airport, allowing international travellers and
local customers direct access to affordable and reliable car rental
services.
Day-to-day operations will be led by Paul Patterson, an experienced
mobility professional with a proven track record managing car rental
brands across international markets. With Paul at the helm, U-Save
Panama is set to provide great-value car hire backed by first-class
customer service.
Richard Lowden, President of U-Save, said:
“We are absolutely thrilled to partner with Firoz, Paul, and their talented
team on the launch of Green Motion and U-Save in Panama. Their deep
understanding of the local automotive sector, combined with international
operational expertise, provides the perfect foundation for growth. This
launch not only strengthens our presence in Central America but also
represents another significant step in the ongoing development of both
our brands across the Americas.”
With U-Save now open at Tocumen International Airport, customers can
enjoy an easy and affordable way to discover Panama. From the modern
skyline and vibrant nightlife of Panama City to island getaways in
Bocas del Toro or wildlife-rich adventures in Soberanía National Park,
